I love how her hair is dark and has a lot of platnim in it too.
My hair stylists is annoying in that I need to tell her exactly what to do, I can't just show her a photo and ask her for it.
So my question is, do I dye it blonde and then put low-lights in. Or do I dye it dark and put a ton of highlights in? Also what type of cut? Just layers?

How can I get my hair color like this? don't go dark and then lighten. I had my hair dyed jet black, and wanted dark cherry and blonde added a month or so later on a whim. We had to bleach it just to get the dark cherry to show up, and stopped after one bleaching which made the platinum actually a copper color, not platinum. It would have taken one more session of bleach, which I opted against-didn't want to fry my hair.
I would personally go lighter first, and then add the dark in. It would use much less bleach, because bleach can only take it a few levels at a time. It looks like she has dark underneath and platinum at the top, which would just be two processes- dark for the base and bleach for the crown. Plus she has a couple of months or regrowth showing, which shows how much maintenance would be for your hair to keep it looking good. Her cut looks simple, most likely one length but maybe a few layers.
Hopefully you aren't going for her whole look, just her hair becuase she looks kinda trashy in my opinion. Good luck with your stylist figuring it out, and hope you can find one eventually who knows what she's doing!!

How can I get my hair color like this? i think the first choice is better,cause if you dye your more darker,then the dark hair wil be more noticed,so dye it blonde and put thin strands of low lights...Also how is it annoying for her to follow your directions if she wont even know what to do? the 1st pic you gave had inapproprite content..why didn't you put the second one and just leave it there? you can get reported for that you know..anyways,that is my option
How can I get my hair color like this? I believe she has some extensions so that might not all be her REAL hair. As for your hair tell the stylist to bleach your hair not dye. Bleach your hair then add toner to make it more white. As for hair cut say shorter in the front than back.
How can I get my hair color like this? dye it dark and get bleached highlights.... but ummm if your stylist sucks that bad, then my advice is DO NOT let her touch your hair with bleach and get reccomendations for someone better.....
also... its tought upkeep to have two dyed hair colors....
How can I get my hair color like this? Your color looks pretty dark the light brownish looks like old highlights soo You could do a frost to get the platiumn and see how it looks. It is complicated really find a new stylist that will listen to you.....
