put gel in between your fingers and run it through your layers straight up as you blow dry it use a little more gel at the roots then the top fro some volume

- You can change your look really easily
-won't go against any school or work dress codes as you can take them out!
this is how i get my hair to stick up and out
first off, i dont wash it everyday because i think its MUCH easier to style when it hasnt been washed the day before.
ok, so, i straighten my hair, all of it.
then, i hold my head upside down and start to starighten it going down. and i do that for a while. when i lift my head up, its sticking up and out, so, i just adjust it to stick out the way i want it to stick out, and then i use hairspray to hold.
Most people say Bedhead is a good hairspray, but I use Aussie Instant Freeze hairspray, and it works really well.

hm..i usually like short hair for the summer i think your hair is pretty cool. but it was pretty when it was long too! try getting more layers to your short cut to make it look more piecey and edgy. otherwise, its awesome!

dont regret of what u ve done in the case of ur recent haircut ! u look nice and moreover it will grow again. this is a trendy style, u can wear it like this, or when u want to have a diffrent look u can apply a little bit of styling gell or shining gell on the edges i mean on ur forehead and ear sides, it would look great as u have a pretty shaped face

Sweety, I will say this. You definetly have the facial structure to pull off a short haircut so don't even worry about it. It will definetly take a bit of time to get used to it considering all of the length that you have cut off, but I'm sure that come a few weeks you'll really start to like it. Don't settle on just one hairstyle though. Experiment around with what you have now. You can do all kinds of different interesting styles with short hair and you can even put on a bit of make-up to bring out your best features and make the hair really work for you. Just experiment and have fun with it! ^.~

im getting my hair cut on monday and i was looking for some good styles. my face is kind of an oval shape, but the bottom is a little bigger than the top... and i have very fine, blonde hair. I play sports, so i need to keep it at a good length so i can put it into a ponytail easily... right now it's about 3 inches past my shoulder

I had to get a short chopped up hair cut due to a bad permanent straightener and over a year of highlights that thinned out and damaged my fine thin once naturally curly hair. Sooo, I got extensions just in the sides since the sides were in the worst condition at the ends and were a tad shorter than the back and had to be curled/styled every day. BUT, now the extensions have to be styled every day because otherwise they are stringy and are VERY hard to fluff and dry when wet. The back of my hair has grown but is now in long choppy layers and the top has grown and some of the curl is coming back on top, in the bangs and underneath the back. It's time for a trim anyway, as it's been over 5 or 6 weeks now since my last trim, and the extensions were put in the sides about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I had them put in to help get me through a cruise in the wind, but they didn't hold up all that well to wind and water. I have an appointment with my newly found stylist that is about the only one I
Hi, I kind of followed your hair questions, since I'm going through the same problems you have had.
I don't have any advice for you 'cause I'm having issues with my hair too. But I just want to ask you though, how you are able to still do all the drying and coloring to your hair? Aren't those going to damage your hair more? I think your hair needs to recover still after your bad straightening. I didn't use those hair appliances for almost 2 months now and it has really helped my hair. I struggle with styling/setting my hair, but i just tie it and dont do anything more, so I don't aggravate it.
I hope you are no longer depressed about this though. I was for a while, but I have to come terms about it and just deal with it. My hair is still breaking and shedding, but there's nothing much I can do, but hope that my hair recovers before I completely go bald.
